Second Suspect Arrested in Connection with Mattapan Triple Shooting Investigation

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2026, Boston Police arrested Kwessi Silcott, 20, of Mattapan, at 2400 Washington Street in Roxbury. At the time of his arrest, Silcott was wanted on a warrant charging him with murder and carrying a firearm without a license. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester Court.

The arrest stems from a prior incident that occurred at approximately 1:24 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, when officers assigned to District B-3 (Dorchester/Mattapan) responded to a ShotSpotter activation and reports of multiple people shot in the area of 2 Hiawatha Road in Mattapan.

Upon arrival, officers located three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were treated at the scene and transported by Boston EMS to local hospitals. On Friday, November 7, 2025, one of the victims from the triple shooting was pronounced deceased. The victim was later identified as 18-year-old G’Kiyah Lewis of Malden. The other two adult male victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
